50' Roll of 2" x 9 ga. tall chain link fabric with an extruded vinyl coating. Available in black, green, or brown color. An ideal fence for most residential fencing applications, our 9 gauge chain link has a core wire gauge of 12, making it light enough to install without specialized equipment, while still strong enough to withstand harsh outdoor climates.
Note about wire gauges: The higher the gauge, the thinner the diameter of the wire; so, 12 ga. wire is thinner than 11 ga, which is thinner than 9ga, etc. Vinyl coated chain link wire is gauged with the vinyl on, so the core wire is actually 11 gauge. The vinyl is extruded over top of the galvanized core wire, and must be cut off to remove. Extruded wire is not as durable as extruded and bonded wire, but it comes with a more affordable price point that is still rugged enough for most residential yard fences.
If you need a fabric selvage that is different from the standard selvage for your height of wire (listed below), please include that information in the order notes at checkout, or contact us.

Knuckle-Knuckle (KK) vs. Knuckle Twist (KT) Extruded and Bonded Chain Link
Knuckle-Knuckle means that the ends of the chain link wire are bent down, leaving a dull corner at the top and bottom of the fence. In Knuckle-Twist, the ends of the chain link wire are twisted together, leaving their sharp edges exposed. Knuckle-Knuckle is often used for backyard fencing and sport field fencing because it is safer; it reduces the chance of getting caught on the wire edge and tearing your skin. Knuckle-Twist, on the other hand is more effective as a perimeter guard fence because it has a more menacing look that discourages fence climbers.
Note: Chain Link Fencing Wire Size is measured from the side of the diamond, not the corner. So, from side to side is 2", while corner to corner is larger than 2".
