The Single Ornamental Butterfly Hinge w/ OZCO OWT Timber Screws is a great way to hang your wood gates and doors, both indoors and out. The Laredo Sunset design sets this hinge apart from ordinary steel butterfly hinges and adds strength and beauty to your gate design. Butterfly hinges have a smaller, more compact profile than strap hinges or T-hinges, making them ideal for smaller doors and gates. Space butterfly hinges every 2-3 ft. on the gate and gate post. Larger gates may require 3 hinges to support the weight of the gate. In that case, consider the OZCO OWT Butterfly Hinge Kit that comes with 3 hinges, OWT Timber Screws, and Hammered Dome Cap Nuts to conceal the screws and provide an extra degree of tamper resistance.
