One of our most popular latches for residential chain link gates, Chain Link Butterfly Latches are an easy and economical way to get self latching functionality for your gate. They are designed for use with spring loaded gate closers or self-closing hinges, where the force of the gate closing pushes the wing of the butterfly latch up enough to slide into a fully closed position; the wing then falls back down, securing the gate in place. Butterfly latches are great if you have pets and you don't want to accidentally leave your gate open. They work both ways, which means you can easily open your gate from either side of the fence.
