Female Strap Hinges install on your gate frame and pair with a male strap hinge (sold separately) on your post. They are easy to install and to use, and are popular due to their low cost and steady performance. Strap hinges are perfect for residential chain link swing gates because they swing smoothly and are very low maintenance. Typically 2 female hinges and 2 male hinges are used per gate. Our female hinges fit a 5/8" pin and install with a 3/8" carriage bolt (not included).

Installation
Attach the Strap Hinges to your gate upright, 1 at the top and one at the bottom. Secure with 3/8" carriage bolts and nuts.
