Our Color Female Strap Hinges are the most popular hinges for residential chain link swing gates. They install on your gate frame and pair with a male strap hinge (sold separately) which is installed on your post. They are easy to install and to use, and are extremely durable, giving years of worry free performance. Typically 2 female hinges and 2 male hinges are used per gate. Our female hinges fit a 5/8" pin and install with a 3/8" carriage bolt (not included).

Installation
Attach the Strap Hinges to your gate upright, 1 at the top and one at the bottom. Secure with 3/8" carriage bolts and nuts.
Tip: You can paint your carriage bolts with a rust preventing spray paint to match them to your hinges.
