Color Pressed Steel Loop Caps are designed to allow horizontal top rail or tension wire to run along the top of the fence. The rail / wire runs through the hole on the loop cap in one continuous line to a terminal post. If using barb wire, then you should not use a loop cap; use a line post barb arm instead, which also has a loop in it for top rail. Pressed Steel loop caps are stronger than aluminum, and are suitable for all types of fencing projects, from heavy residential to commercial.

Installation
Place your color chain link pressed steel loop cap on the top of your chain link line posts with the sides facing perpendicular to the fence line. The fit will be tight, but push them down on the cap until it is fully on the post.
Tip: If your loop caps get scratched, you can touch them up with a can of spray paint. We sell custom formulated paint to match the powder coat, or you can have your own mixed.
