Our Commercial Drop Rod Fork & Pin Latch is meant to be welded to a 1-3/8" pipe to create a heavy duty chain link gate drop rod. It is typically used only on commercial and industrial projects, where heavy double drive gates are used. Drop rods are used to secure double drive chain link gates in the closed position. Can be used with one of our chain link gate Center Stops, or you can drill holes in the ground to secure your drop rod. The galvanized coating protects against rust & corrosion, and provides years of maintenance free performance.
