Product Description
- Galvanized Pressed Steel Construction
- Perfect for Residential Grade Chain Link Fencing & Gates
- Use to Attach Chain Link Fabric to Your Terminal Posts
- Galvanized for Rust Protection
Flat Tension Bands are used to connect chain link fabric to terminal posts, gate frames, and fence panels. They hold the stretched fabric, and tension bar, in place with a carriage bolt. Each post (or framework) will have multiple tension bands, depending on the height; typically tension bands are spaced every 12 inches, but may be spread out to every 18 inches. Use one less tension band than the height of your fence, in feet. So, for example, a 6' tall fence would require 5 tension bands, and so on. These bands are hot-dip galvanized to protect against rust.
In general flat tension bands are used on residential chain link fences. They are lighter gauge steel and more economical than beveled tension bands.
