- Slide Down Easily Into Woven Chain Link Fabric
- 5/8" Is Great for Residential Fencing, While 3/4" Is Perfect for Commercial
- Larger Heights Available Upon Request
Tension bars are what connect to tension bands to hold your stretched chain link fabric in place. They make fabric easier to stretch with a come-a-long and fence stretcher bar. As their name suggests, they ensure that the fence has equal tension from top to bottom, and that the fabric stays stretched uniformly. Order tension bars that are the same height of your fence; so if your fence is 6' high, order 6' tension bars.
Tension bars are also used to mount chain link fabric to gates and fence panels. In general, 5/8" wide tension bars are used for residential chain link fences & gates, while 3/4" wide tension bars are used for commercial grade chain link fences & gates.

No digging
I used 100 of these tension bars to slide into my chain link fence to prevent my dog from digging under the fence. The bars slide in easily, drop down further if she digs, and do not break or bend. AND THEN even with shipping costs, these were by far more economical than anywhere else I looked for the same thing or at any other options for pet defense for the amount needed. I will be ordering a couple hundred more to complete the job. (HUGE amount of fencing.)
