Pressed Steel Combo Rail Ends are designed for using a brace and truss design on chain link fencing. Brace and truss designs provide additional strength for terminal posts and prevent them from moving out of plumb when stretching your chain link fabric. It is a push-pull system that distributes the stress on the terminal post across the brace rail and into the first line post. The hole in the combo rail end is designed so that you can bend your truss rod into the hole and down into your brace rail.

These heavy duty rail ends mounts to your terminal post with an appropriately sized brace band, and holds the brace rail in place. Combo rail ends are available only in pressed steel, as aluminum is not strong enough to withstand the force of a brace and truss design.

Installation

Attach your pressed steel rail end cap to your terminal post with an appropriately sized brace band and a 5/16" x 1-1/4" carriage bolt. Sandwich the rail end bolt hole between the bolt holes of the brace band, and insert your carriage bolt through all 3 holes. Tighten the nut until the rail end is secure.
