Finally, a joist hanger that looks as nice as it is strong. Ironwood Joist Hangers from OZCO Ornamental Wood Ties are designed to accentuate your project as they support your joists. With strong 3/16" galvanized steel and a premium black powder coat, these hangers are functional enough for even the heaviest backyard projects, while providing a ruggedly beautiful hand forged style that you just can't get with traditional connectors.
These connectors are 2-piece, and they automatically adjust to all standard 2" boards, from 1.45" to 2", making them ideal for both rough cut and smooth cut wood. The innovative ledge design, makes for easy work when hanging joists, and even reduces the need for additional labor to hold the joist up while securing it to the beam. The flush style connectors come in 2 sizes to fit standard 6" or "8 joist boards; they sit flush against the beam and enable you to position the hanger anywhere you choose on the face of the beam. The 6" - 8" tabbed hangers have an additional tab that connects to the bottom of your beam, ensuring a perfectly flush connection and providing additional strength and support.
