The OZCO OWT Ironwood Post to Beam Offset Bolt Connector is an elegant solution to connecting your wood beams to 6" or larger posts. The revolutionary 2-piece design has a ledge that lets you rest your beam on the connector while making your measurements; it acts as a second set of hands that holds the beam in place until you are ready to attach it, reducing time and labor on the project. These connectors are offset, which means that the bolt holes on the upper plate are slightly offset from each other. These are used for perpendicular beams where you need the bolts to not run into each other. Inline OWT Post to Beam Connectors are also available for attaching parallel beams.
Post to Beam Connectors are designed for roofs, pergolas, rafters, & other structures. These Ironwood themed connectors are designed for both strength and style with a 3/16" galvanized steel construction and a high-quality powder coat that provides a premium look that will last for years, indoor or out. OWT products can also be used for unlimited alternative projects like furnishings & architectural applications.
The Ironwood Post to Beam Connectors match the rest of the Ironwood Series from OZCO OWT Hardware. This style is characterized by clean lines, crisp angles, and an industrial chic style that is designed to elevate the look of your project.
Each OWT Post to Beam Offset Connector includes:
- 2 - Ironwood Post Ledge Base Plates
- 2 - Ironwood Top Plates with Offset Holes
- 4 - 1-1/2" Hex Cap Nuts
- 4 - 2-3/4" OWT Timber Screws (Used for bottom plate placement only)
The Ironwood Post to Beam Offset Connector DOES NOT include OWT Timber Bolts, which are required for installation. You need to choose the size of Timber Bolt that best meets your needs. 4 bolts are needed, and are sold separately.
