Product Description
- Mounts to Any Flat Surface Gate - Wood, Vinyl, Composite, & Poly Lumber
- Helps Keep Gates from Sagging by Supporting the Weight on the Leading Gate Edge
- Prolongs Life of Gate Hinges by Lessening the Amount of Stress on Them
- Spring Loaded Design Absorbs Shocks from Uneven Ground
Spring Loaded Gate Wheels are great for gates that need a little extra support due to their weight or age. The gate wheel mounts to the leading edge of the gate, and helps to distribute the weight of the gate so that your hinges don't bear it all, prolonging their life. Gate wheels also help prevent gate sagging on wood and composite gates that aren't reinforced. These gate wheels also make operation smoother, with the spring loaded design that can absorb small bumps and obstructions (small stones, etc).
While spring loaded gate wheels can absorb minor shocks caused by small pavement cracks or tiny pebbles, they are not intended for rocky or uneven ground. If your ground is rocky or has many large cracks, you should choose a pneumatic style gate wheel.

No holes in mounting plate for bolts
no holes are drilled in the vertcal plate forbolting to the gate - no practical mounting solution - odd. **Signet Fence Response** Thank you for your feedback. You are correct that there are no holes drilled in this wheel's plate; it is designed to be field drilled for maximum flexibility.
